Principal’s Welcome

I’m delighted to introduce you to our school, Dromore High.  This is an 11-18 school with a prevailing Christian ethos and a strong academic focus and record.  Pupils consistently achieve excellent results in exams and are encouraged to continually strive to do better.  High quality teaching from hard working, supportive staff, coupled with affirmative parental support, frequently results in great achievements.

As well as a strong academic focus, Dromore High is renowned for being a caring school “family”.  We place great importance on the well-being of each pupil and subsequently our pupils find school to be a rewarding and fulfilling time in their lives.

The level of demand for places in Dromore High is testament to the quality of the education provided here, of which I am extremely proud.  The success of our past pupils passing through our popular Sixth Form, to many universities and beyond to rewarding professions and careers, or to skilled vocations via our local colleges speaks volumes of the contribution our school makes to the lives of our young learners.
